HMS Limbourne 1943. Image Courtesy Mr. Neil Wood survivor of the ships sinking in 0ct 1943. Limbourne was a hunt class destroyer laid down in April 1940. Her displacement ran in at 1545-tons with a speed of 27 knots. The wreck was discovered by a team of divers in June 2002 led by Mr. Keith Morris, a London based pioneer of deep technical diving.
