| Image Information HMS Limbourne starboard aerial view of destroyer at sea during 1943. When the 2002 dive team discovered discovered her location they found the wreck to be in three sections, the bow completely missing as would be expected when she was struck by torpedo while the stern section lies away from the amidships section probably due to when she was sunk finally by the allies. Depth to the wreck is 280ft. Image courtesy Mr. Neil Wood Collection Back to Archive Gallery. |
