| Image Information The German steamer Musterland. This ship was carrying something so important to the Germans on the evening of the 23rd Oct 1943 that a heavily armed escort to protect her and the convoy was put into place. The well briefed German Navy successfully prevented an evening attack by the British forces resulting in the sinking of HMS Limbourne & Charybdis. Image courtesy of Mr. Alain Launay. Back to Gallery |
